All of us have a happy childhood memory about snow: the frozen lace of icy snowflakes sparkling in the sun; catching them on your tongue as they flutter down from the white wintry sky, lingering a moment from your nose, eyelashes and hair. Factoid: the largest snowflake ever found was in Siberia in 1971 was 8" x 12", and contained hundreds of inpidual crystals.
